At Dallas, Crestwood and Dallas played to a 3-3 draw in a two-overtime game Thursday in WVC girls soccer. Nicole Joseph, Nina Atie and Melissa Herera scored the Comet goals, while Megan MacNeely, Christina Schappert and Kanisha Cheshire scored for the Mounts.

At Edgewood, Logan Paczewski shot a 35 to earn medalist honors and help Dallas defeat Nanticoke Area, 149-176. Brett Ostroski had a 36 for the Mountaineers, while teammates Kyle McAndrew and Colin Bowanko each shot a 39.
Austin Norton and Jim Shypulefsky each shot 42 for the Trojans.

At Penn State’s White Course in University Park, Penn State Wilkes-Barre won a 10-team tournament to open the season with an overall score of 317. Penn State DuBois was second with 320.
Jonathan Wilson (Dallas) led the scoring for the winners with a 73, while Adam Borton (Dallas) had 79, Anthony Shaver (Wyoming Area) had an 80 and Jake Malia (Valley West) shot an 85.
