Man threatened to shoot cashier in Fairfield Dunkin’ robbery

FAIRFIELD - The Dunkin’ Donuts at 593 Post Road was robbed early Tuesday by a man who threatened to shoot the cashier.

The robbery that happened around 2 a.m.

The suspect was described as a black male with thin build and in his 40s. He wore a red jacket and hat.

The cashier told police the man threatened to shoot her.

“The male implied that he had a gun, however, no firearm was displayed,” said Lt. John Bucherati.

“The male took an undetermined amount of cash from the register and fled the store. A K9 track of the suspect was unsuccessful.”

No one was injured during this incident.
