San Antonio’s Sculley gives herself glowing performance review
Citing the city’s continued AAA bond rating and the Smart Cities technology initiative among her successes in the past year, San Antonio City Manager Sheryl Sculley turned in a highly positive self-evaluation to the City Council.
Sculley is required to submit the self-evaluation of her performance every year, and the council members use that to discuss a possible bonus of up to $100,000.
The 15-page document written by Sculley discusses in detail each of the areas that she and the council established as performance metrics for the year and finds she and her staff have excelled.
“As the most experienced City Manager of any large city in the country, I utilize my nearly 40 years of experience managing local government to address the challenges facing San Antonio on a daily basis,” she wrote.
Sculley’s base salary is $475,000.
