5 vehicles vandalized in commuter rail parking lot
BROCKTON, Mass. (AP) — Police in Massachusetts say five vehicles have been vandalized in a commuter rail parking lot.
Darcie Fisher tells WCVB-TV her husband’s SUV was one of the five vehicles that was vandalized at the Campello Station lot in Brockton. Fisher says the SUV’s window was shattered and some spare change was stolen.
Fisher called the incident a “minor problem” but added that cameras should be installed in the commuter lots. Other commuters say there isn’t enough security.
Vehicles were vandalized in MBTA parking lots in Sharon, Whitman, Foxborough and Kingston earlier this summer.
Transit police installed a security tower at Campello Station Thursday morning.
