MILWAUKEE -- Hal Koenig, 61, of Milwaukee, died Tuesday, March 26, 2019, of a heart attack.
Hal was an architect who designed many buildings in Jefferson County, among them the county workforce development center, Dorothy Carnes Park pavilion and The Market in Watertown.
Later in life, Hal became a full-time artist known for his landscapes. He owned and operated the Oil Gallery in the Historic Third Ward in Milwaukee.
Hal is survived by his husband of 32 years, Robert Schwoch, siblings, nieces and nephews.
