Lorraine Dykstra, 79, of Orange City, passed away Friday, Oct. 5, 2018, at Happy Siesta Care Center in Remsen, Iowa.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Reformed Church in Orange City. The Rev. Dr. Brian Keepers and the Rev. Robert De Boer will officiate. Interment will be in West Lawn Cemetery. Survivors include her husband, Alfred Lee Dykstra; a son and his wife, David Kent and Gail Aalberts; a son-in-law and his wife, Gerry and Deb Bomgaars; a stepdaughter and her husband, Darsha and Ron Tuenge; three stepsons and their wives, Dan and Cindy Van’t Hof, Doug and Lisa Van’t Hof, and Darren and Tricia Van’t Hof; three grandchildren; 14 stepgrandchildren; one great-granddaughter; 10 great-stepgrandchildren; and five sisters, two brothers and their spouses, Janet Renes, Howard and Janice Gayer, Les and Helene Gayer, Lois and Paul De Leeuw, Marlys and Rob Etter, June and Marlo Voetberg, and Rhonda and Jeff Haverhals.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first two husbands, Kenneth Lee Aalberts and Roger Dean Van’t Hof; a daughter, Kerri Lynn Bomgaars on March 5, 1996; a sister and her husband, Ruth and Cornie Jansen; a brother-in-law, John Renes; and a sister-in-law, Muriel Gayer.

Memorials may be directed to the National Ataxia Foundation in memory of Ken Aalberts and Kerri Bomgaars.
