GEORGE LAMBERT, 79, of Ranger, W.Va., was reunited with the love of his life, Fannie Lambert, on Monday, January 21, 2019, at his residence. He was born June 3, 1939, in Accoville, W.Va., a son of the late Henderson and Lilly Lucas Lambert. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Albert Lambert, Allan Lambert and Richard Lambert; four sisters, Georgia White, Bessie Adkins, Maude Ramey and Norma Napier; and his father and mother-in-law, Ralph and Nancy Neace Farley. George enjoyed hunting, playing canasta, gardening, farming and spending time with family. Those left to cherish his memory include four daughters, Mary Porter of California, Joyce (Brad) Whitman of Defiance, Ohio, Regina (Kirby) Stickler of Huntington, W.Va., and Tabatha (Dean) Williams of Gray, Georgia; two sons, Ken (Susie) Farley of Yawkey, W.Va., and Hoss (Lova) Farley of Harts, W.Va.; 14 grandchildren, Pauline Shelton, Trina Salmons, Brad Nelson, Angel Marvin, Brye Skiver, Candice Gore, Megan Farley, Dr. Kasey Stickler, Dr. Morgan Stickler, Kyle Chapman, Zachary Chapman, Billy Ray Queen, Brianna Ferrell and Amanda Nelson; 15 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and a host of well-loved nieces and nephews. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, January 26, 2019, at Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, W.Va., with Gary Toppings officiating. Burial will follow in Lucas Cemetery, Harts, W.Va. Visitation will be on Friday, January 25, 2019, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be friends and family. Honorary pallbearer will be Clifford Shelton.
