FITCHBURG -- The Fitchburg Senior Center has announced its calendar of events for January. Call 978-829-1790 to sign up or for more information on a program.

Wednesday, Jan. 2

9-10 a.m.: A Walking Club will be held in O’Neill Hall; free.

1:15-3:15 p.m.: Bingo for Seniors.

Friday, Jan. 4

10:30-11:30 a.m.: Join Ron Crocker to enjoy the many benefits of tai-chi for seniors; $5 per class.

Monday, Jan. 7

9:30 a.m.: Play or learn how to play shuffleboard in O’Neill Hall.

Tuesday, Jan. 8

9:30 a.m.: Play or learn how to play shuffleboard in O’Neill Hall.

10 a.m.-noon: Scott Arsenault of Scotty’s Carvings, fellow woodcarvers and master woodcarver Pete LeClair will show how to carve, work on your carvings or just observe their artistry; free.
