PRESTO, Pa. (AP) _ Actor Jack Wagner loves to talk, especially about his golf game.
Wagner, who starred in the roles of Frisco Jones on ``General Hospital″ and Dr. Peter Burns on ``Melrose Place,″ was all too happy to talk about the three-under-par 69 he shot in the first round of the Mario Lemieux Celebrity Invitational at the Club at Nevillewood.
Wagner led a 63-player field that suffered from a somewhat soggy course early Friday after heavy rain. Former NHL player Bernie Nicholls, former major-league pitcher Shane Rawley and NFL quarterback Billy Joe Tolliver tied in second with a 73 each.
``I hit some bad shots and had three bogeys in the last four holes, which is very disappointing,″ Wagner said. ``But it was the first day, and there were real soft conditions.″
Other participants in the tournament hosted by the Pittsburgh Penguins captain included basketball greats Charles Barkley and Michael Jordan, and Canadian figure skaters David Pelletier and Jamie Sale.
