Winning $1M Powerball ticket sold in Forest Hills

August 3, 2018

A sign advertises the Pennsylvania lottery.

A Powerball ticket worth $1 million was sold in Allegheny County over the weekend.

The ticket correctly matched all five white balls drawn for the July 28 drawing, 22-27-46-56-65, to win $1 million. The ticket didn’t match the red Powerball, 13.

Stop & Shop, 2110 Ardmore Blvd. in Forest Hills, will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

The Powerball jackpot rolled to an estimated annuity value of $187 million, or $111.6 million cash, for Wednesday’s drawing.
