FOXBORO, Mass. (AP) _ Town selectmen have approved a license for a concert by Bob Dylan and the Grateful Dead, tentatively set for July 3 at Sullivan Stadium.

The concert gained unanimous approval Tuesday night. Although contracts with the performers have yet to be signed, stadium spokesman Brian O'Donovan said approval made the performances likely.

The Board of Selectmen also approved a license for a May 23 rock concert by the group Journey.

The last rock concerts at the stadium were separate shows in 1983 by David Bowie, Simon & Garfunkel and the Police.
