Singing Cookes and Cooke Brothers will perform on Oct. 5 in Hurricane

HURRICANE — The Singing Cookes and the Cooke Brothers from Church Hill, Tennessee will appear in concert at 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 5 at the new Valley Park Conference Center, located off W.Va. 34 in Hurricane.

The Cookes are a family group composed of mother, Jeanette, and sons, Ronnie, Donnie and James. Their singing ministry began in 1962 in Wise, Virginia, and their concert travels have taken them all 50 states and Canada where God has used their musical talents to bless scores of audiences. They have recorded nearly 55 albums with several releases charting on national southern Gospel radio. Favorite songs include, “I Hope We Walk the Last Mile Together,” “Ain’t No Grave Gonna Hold My Body Down,” and “My Lord Will Send a Moses.”

The concert is being held in the newly constructed Valley Park Conference Center. This is a non-ticketed event.
