NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) _ The Tennessee Titans agreed to contract terms with cornerback Michael Booker on Monday.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Booker spent last season with the Titans after being cut by the Atlanta Falcons. He played in 15 games and had one interception. The four-year veteran has been working out at the Titans' practice facility throughout the offseason waiting for a new contract

Tennessee general manager Floyd Reese expects improved play from Booker in his second season in the Titans' defense.

``Michael has a tremendous work ethic and provides problems for opposing receivers with his size and athleticism,'' Reese said.

The 6-foot-2, 200-pound Booker was the 11th pick overall in 1997 draft. He has 236 tackles and three career interceptions in 11 starts.
