Sheriff: 2 women arrested in Georgia nightclub beating
AUGUSTA, Ga. (AP) — Two Georgia women have been accused of beating a third woman to the point where she may lose sight in her eye.
News outlets report 21-year-olds Hollie Carter and Jordie Holt were arrested Tuesday and charged with aggravated battery.
A report from Richmond County Sherriff’s says the two women were involved in an altercation earlier this month with 24-year-old Brittany Stevens. The report says the altercation left Stevens with a broken orbital bone.
The report says Carter and Holt told deputies they pushed Stevens because she attacked Carter; both women agreed they didn’t know how Stevens sustained injures to her face.
Deputies are searching for a third male suspect. WRDW-TV reports Stevens’ mother is offering a $2,000 for any information.
It’s unclear whether Carter or Holt has attorney representation.
