Police roundup: Robbery among incidents listed by Huntington police

HUNTINGTON — The following information was provided by police reports from the Huntington Police Department:

The Huntington Police Department listed 10 new incident reports in the 24-hour period ending at 3 p.m. Friday, according to the printout released by the department. However, the individual police reports were not made available, so these are the only known details:

Robbery — first degree, 2:20 a.m. Friday, 24th Street and Lincoln Avenue.

Shoplifting — third offense, 11:31 p.m. Thursday, unit block of West 7th Avenue.

Breaking and entering auto, 11 p.m. Wednesday, 600 block of 16th Street.

Shoplifting - first and second offense, warrant service/execution, 9:10 p.m. Thursday, 900 block of 9th Avenue.

Battery, 8:19 p.m. Thursday, 2700 block of 4th Avenue.

Fleeing from officer, no vehicle, warrant service/execution, 3:40 p.m. Thursday, Washington Boulevard and Park Street.

Found property, 4:15 p.m. Thursday, 600 block of 10th Street.

Petit larceny, 2 p.m. Wednesday, 2400 block of 3rd Avenue.

Warrant service/execution, 6 a.m. Thursday, 29th Street and 5th Avenue.

Deceased person, 12:30 a.m. Thursday, 1900 block of 12th Avenue.

The following information was provided by booking records kept at Western Regional Jail:

Hershel Lee Lovejoy II, 61, was jailed at 3:05 p.m. Friday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with conspiracy and obstructing. Bond was set at $15,000.
