P. Diddy’s New Album Debuts on Top

NEW YORK (AP) _ Sean ``P. Diddy″ Combs has reason to be giddy _ his new album, ``We Invented the Remix,″ has debuted at the top of the album charts.

The disc, which includes collaborations with artists from his Bad Boy label, as well as Mary J. Blige and Ashanti, sold about 256,000 copies for the week ending Sunday.

Following close behind P. Diddy is rapper Cam’ron, who sold 226,000 copies of his comeback disc, ``Come Home With Me.″ The rock group Weezer’s new disc, ``Maladroit,″ debuted at No. 3 with 152,000 copies sold; and techno artist Moby sold 126,000 copies of ``18″ in its first week.
