LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. (AP) _ Tora Suber scored 16 points to lead eighth-ranked Virginia to a 79-44 victory over Rider Saturday night.

Virginia (12-3) jumped to a 20-2 lead, with Suber scoring six, and never trailed.

Rider (3-6) cut the lead to 35-20 by scoring the last seven points of the half, but Virginia scored 10 unanswered points to open a 59-33 lead in the second half and put the game out of reach.

DeMya Walker scored 11 points and grabbed 15 rebounds, and Tiffany Bower scored 11 points off the bench for Virginia.

Patrika Smith was Rider's high scorer, finishing with 11 points. Jessica Beck added nine points and six rebounds.
