MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) — The Big 12′s top two scoring offenses will battle tonight for the right to go to next week’s Big 12 championship game. No. 6 Oklahoma visits No. 12 West Virginia in a game that also gives Heisman Trophy hopefuls Kyler Murray and Will Grier the chance to make perhaps one final impression. The 10-1 Sooners are chasing their third-straight title along with a berth in the College Football Playoff. The 8-2 Mountaineers are hoping to beat the only team they haven’t defeated since joining the league in 2012.

PULLMAN, Wash. (AP) — No. 7 Washington State hopes to bring home the Apple Cup for the first time in five years when the Cougars host No. 16 Washington tonight. The winner will play in the Pac-12 championship game against Utah as the North Division champ. For the Cougars, there is still the outside possibility of landing in the College Football Playoff with two more wins and a lot of chaos.

OXFORD, Miss. (AP) — Nick Fitzgerald and Kylin Hill combined for 225 yards rushing as No. 22 Mississippi State cruised to victory in last night’s Egg Bowl, 35-3 over Mississippi. Fitzgerald ran for 117 yards two touchdowns and threw for another score as the Bulldogs improved to 8-4. The game was marred by a brawl at the end of the third quarter, leading to the ejections of four players.

PARADISE ISLAND, Bahamas (AP) — Fourth-ranked Virginia and No. 25 Wisconsin headline today’s four-game schedule on the final day of the Battle 4 Atlantis. The Cavaliers and Badgers will meet in the championship game this afternoon. Oklahoma plays Dayton for third place, Butler faces Florida in the fifth-place game and Stanford meets Middle Tennessee in the seventh-place game to end the day.

NEW YORK (AP) — No. 2 Kansas and No. 5 Tennessee play for the NIT Season Tip-Off title tonight in New York City. Both teams were tested in the semifinals Wednesday, when Kansas prevailed over Marquette 77-68 and Tennessee topped Louisville 92-81.
