Roseburg man arrested after refusing to leave hospital

A Roseburg man was arrested early Friday morning after allegedly refusing to leave the hospital after being discharged, according to police.

Timothy James Germond, 36, was voluntarily transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center for evaluation, but after he was discharged and given several order to leave the property, he remained.

Police said Germond was taken into custody but initially resisted arrest. During the incident, Germond banged his head against the cage of the patrol car, injuring his forehead.

He was arrested on suspicion of second-degree criminal trespass, resisting arrest and second-degree criminal mischief.
