1 woman killed, another injured in Waterbury shooting
WATERBURY, Conn. (AP) — Police say one woman was killed and another was injured in an early morning shooting in Connecticut.
Waterbury police tell the Republican American that Fransua Guzman, a 30-year-old mother of four, was fatally shot in the city at about 3 a.m. Thursday.
She was shot a short distance from her home.
A 53-year-old woman was shot in the abdomen and was listed in stable condition at the hospital. Her name was not made public.
No arrests have been announced.
The investigation is ongoing and police have not disclosed a possible motive.
