Police: 14-year-old bicyclist struck by 2 vehicles
VINELAND, N.J. (AP) — Authorities in New Jersey say a 14-year-old boy who was struck by two vehicles has been hospitalized in critical condition.
NJ.com reports the incident happened around 8:20 p.m. Monday in Vineland. Police say a truck driven by a 17-year-old boy struck the bicyclist. Authorities say the driver stopped for the victim before he was hit by a second vehicle driven by a 65-year-old woman.
The victim was taken to Cooper University Hospital where he’s listed in critical but stable condition.
No charges have been filed. An investigation continues.
