LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) _ Billy Thompson scored 19 points and Milt Wagner 17, including 10 in the second half Monday night, to lead 17th-ranked Louisville to an 86-55 victory over Eastern Kentucky in college basketball.

The Cardinals led 49-41 with 18:06 remaining in the second half when they outscored the Colonels 17-6 over the next 4:40 to make it 66-47. Wagner had nine points during the run.

Kenny Payne scored a career-high 15 points, Tony Kimbro added 11 and Herbert Crook 10 for Louisville.

Lewis Spence had a game-high 21 points. Guard Antonio Parris, averaging 20.9 points, scored only eight, all in the first half.

Louisville, 8-3, hit 16 of its first 25 shots from the floor. Eastern Kentucky, 3-7, made only eight of 22.
