MINOT, N.D. _ A North Dakota pastor is leading groups on pilgrimages to Israel. Kent Hinkel made his first pilgrimage to Israel when he was a student in his last year of ministry training in 1994. Now as the senior pastor at First Baptist Church in Minot, Hinkel has led four trips. The most recent pilgrimage was Jan. 16-26, when a group of 27 people hosted by Hinkel went to Israel. BISMARCK, N.D. _ A North Dakota program is offering support to those who are grieving. Looking Onward to Understanding and Serenity is a grief support program in Bismarck that started in 1993. Don Lucas decided to start attending after his wife died. He had a network of friends, a group with which he and his wife had dined, camped and socialized.
