Kavanaugh confirmation: Two former Yale classmates speak out ahead of vote

Republicans are moving forward this morning with a vote on Brett Kavanaugh’s Supreme Court nomination less than 24 hours after he and his accuser, Christine Blasey Ford, offered emotional and explosive testimony in a hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee.

Ford testified on Thursday she was “100 percent” certain it was Kavanaugh and his friend Mark Judge who sexually assaulted her at a party during high school. Kavanaugh told senators later in the day that “I am innocent” The committee refused to call any witnesses, including Judge, who was allegedly the only other direct witness to the incident.
