Final score: Minnehaha Academy 72, Caledonia 63

What happened: No. 3 seed Minnehaha rode some hot 3-point shooting to hold on and beat Caledonia, which trailed 33-27 at halftime but briefly went ahead in the second half. Caledonia led 53-48 with 7:42 left in regulation before the Redhawks heated up. Caledonia’s loss broke up a 22-game winning streak.

Game notes: Caledonia was limited to 27-percent shooting from the field. Minnehaha Academy shot 38 percent from the field, including going 11-for-32 from 3-point distance. Taytum Rhoades scored 29 points for the Redhawks.

Records: Caledonia is 26-5, Minnehaha Academy 25-6.

Ashley Schroeder (Caledonia): The point guard had 21 points, including hitting all 11 of her free throws.

Katilin Conniff (Caledonia): The speed guard jad 16 points and went 10-for-10 from the line.

Katie Tornstrom (Caledonia): Tornstrom had 19 points and 16 rebounds.
