PHOENIX, Ariz. (AP) _ The Oakland A's, using primarily minor leaguers, rallied for six runs in the bottom of the ninth inning to beat the Cleveland Indians 6-5 in a split- squad exhibition game Saturday.

Tyler Brilinski's one-out single off Tom Waddell scored Dave Parker from second base with the winning run. The A's had five straight hits in the inning after Pat Dietrich opened the ninth with a single to center, Felix Jose struck out and Russ McGinnis walked.

Darrin Duffy then singled to center to load the bases. Stan Javier blooped a single over second to score one run, and Matt Sinatro hit a two-run single up the middle. Parker, who had been out five days with a slight groin pull, singled past first base to score Javier and Ross Jones bounced a single up the middle to tie the score.

Loser Doug Jones was then relieved by Waddell, and Brilinski delivered the game-winning hit to center to give the A's their seventh straight exhibition victory.

Eric Plunk earned the victory for the A's, giving up just one hit and striking out five in three innings.
