TILLYS Raises Nearly $200,000 for Tilly’s Life Center

IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 6, 2019--TILLYS raised almost $200,000 and donated one hundred percent of its proceeds to Tilly’s Life Center at its 12 th Dia De Los Tillys Charity Golf Tournament. Held last Monday at the Mission Viejo Country Club, the scramble format golf tournament also hosted the Heavy Metal Mariachi band, Metalachi at its Fiesta After Par-Tee.

The funds raised from the golf tournament will be utilized towards expanding Tilly’s Life Center’s mission to empower teens to overcome adversity through the power of positive thinking. TLC’s programs equip youth with soft skills and coping techniques through social-emotional learning curriculum that reintroduces core values into their lives, enabling them to effectively manage crisis, adversity and tough decisions.   Tilly’s Life Center currently hosts programs in Orange County, Riverside, Los Angeles and San Diego.
