ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (AP) — Police say two teenagers have been arrested on weapons charges stemming from a shooting at an Atlantic City school complex.

Atlantic City police said in a statement on Saturday that a 16-year-old boy and 19-year-old Darren Nedrick, of Atlantic City, have been arrested. Police did not identify the 16-year-old, who is also from Atlantic City.

Authorities say that on Feb. 3 the teens fired shots at the Uptown School Complex when school was not in session. No injuries were reported.

Atlantic City police Sgt. Kevin Fair says a motive for the shootings is not known.

The teens face charges including assault, conspiracy and unlawful weapons possession.

It could not immediately be determined if they had an attorney to speak on their behalf.
