West Virginia teen accused of abduction, sexual assault
BARBOURSVILLE, W.Va. (AP) — A teenager in West Virginia is accused of holding a female victim against her will at his home and sexually assaulting her.
The Huntington Herald-Dispatch reports 19-year-old Christopher Travis Clark II was arrested Saturday on charges including sexual assault and abduction. He’s also charged with domestic battery and strangulation. The age of the female victim and her connection to Clark is unclear.
A Barboursville police criminal complaint says Clark assaulted the female victim last week at his home. It says he punched and kicked her, tore her clothes off and bruised her. It says the victim wasn’t allowed to leave Clark’s home until the next afternoon.
It’s unclear if Clark has a lawyer who can comment.
