He’s to be arraigned Monday on obstruction of justice and weapons charges. It’s not known if he has a lawyer.
Police Chief Kyle Heagney said officers alerted to shots fired at 4 a.m. found a wounded man in his early 20s. He was taken Rhode Island Hospital and is expected to recover.
The suspect ran into the nearby house, and didn’t respond to police who later brought in a state police robot and search dog.
Three people left the building before he was captured.
