CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — New Hampshire is going to hold its second winter free fishing day this weekend.

People will be able to fish without a license on Saturday, Jan. 20, but all other regulations must be followed.

The Legislature authorized the winter free fishing day to provide an opportunity for those interested in trying ice-fishing. The first one was last year.

New Hampshire also offers a free fishing day on the first Saturday in June.

People participating in a fishing tournament must still hold a license, even on free fishing day.
