Man Struck and Killed in Concord ID’d
CONCORD -- The pedestrian who was killed in a Monday motor vehicle crash was identified Wednesday as 75-year-old Wayne Moody of Rutland, officials stated in a press release.
The Middlesex District Attorney’s Office said Moody was struck by a 2016 Ford utility pickup truck at the intersection of Independence Road and Alcott Road in Concord around 12:20 p.m. Monday. Moody was apparently working near the side of the road when the truck went in reverse and ran him over, an investigation determined.
Moody was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the truck remained on scene. No charges have been filed as of Wednesday afternoon.
