No one injured in Charleston Highway rollover car crash

August 3, 2018

A car crashed and rolled over multiple times, landing in the woods just off Charleston Highway in Aiken County on Thursday.

The crash happened near Fairwind Road in Windsor.

No one was injured in the single-vehicle crash, according to the driver of the wrecked car. The driver was the only one in the car, according to those on scene.

A call for a multi-rollover car crash came over the scanner around noon on Thursday.

The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office and local fire and medical responders were among the first to arrive at the crash. S.C. Highway Patrol showed up around 1 p.m. and inspected the car, which landed right-side up.

The crash did not block traffic, and Charleston Highway remained unobstructed as of 1 p.m.
