Norfolk Catholic cross country participates in Columbus Scotus Invite; Boys crowned champions
The Norfolk Catholic cross country squads participated in yesterday’s Columbus Scotus Invitational.
The Knights were the champions in the boys’ race with a score of 22. They won by 25 points. Columbus Scotus’ Elliott Thomazin was the medalist in a time of 17:57. He won by eight seconds. Norfolk Catholic’s Rylan Rasmussen was second, Dalton Brunsing finished third, Elliot Eisenmenger got sixth, and Wyatt Ash placed eleventh. In the girls’ contest, Boone Central/Newman Grove was the champion with a score of 29. They won by two points. The Lady Knights were eighth with a score of 109. Boone Central/Newman Grove’s Sam Weeder was the medalist in 21:06. She won by less than a second. Norfolk Catholic’s Emily Faltys finished tenth and Meghan Colton was 17th.
