BISMARCK, N.D. _ The state of North Dakota is asking a federal judge to dismiss a lawsuit filed by a Native American tribe over voter identification requirements. BISMARCK, N.D. _ A mountain lion that North Dakota wildlife officials had tracked last fall before it thwarted their efforts was shot and killed Tuesday after wandering into an area of Bismarck just a few blocks from the city’s downtown. Officials believe the young male was traveling along the Missouri River in search of new territory and might have followed a deer into the city, looking for a meal. By Blake Nicholson.
