Sprint reports 2Q loss
OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (AP) — Sprint Corp. (S) on Tuesday reported a loss of $142 million in its fiscal second quarter.
The Overland Park, Kansas-based company said it had a loss of 4 cents per share.
The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of 14 analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 7 cents per share.
The wireless carrier posted revenue of $8.25 billion in the period.
Sprint shares have climbed 91 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has risen 55 percent in the last 12 months.
