JUPITER, Fla. (AP) _ Celine Dion donned a navy blue apron to serve breakfast to dozens of elementary school students at a McDonald’s restaurant to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House Charities.

Dion said the Ronald McDonald House in Montreal was ``an incredible help″ to her family members who stayed there years ago. Ronald McDonald Houses provide lodging for the families of hospitalized children.

``I’m here because I’m a mother and to make a difference in my son’s life is what counts the most,″ she said Wednesday. ``And if I can make a difference in other children’s lives, I will do it.″

After taking a two-year break to have a baby, the 34-year-old singer, whose hits include ``My Heart Will Go On″ from the film ``Titanic,″ is moving to Las Vegas, where she’ll perform at Caesars Palace hotel-casino for three years. Dion will open in March.

While serving breakfast, Dion said she enjoyed McDonald’s as a child _ and still does. ``I like the Big Mac a lot, but this morning I think I’m going to start with an Egg McMuffin,″ she said.
