Galloway, Brown to Miss Cowboys-Pats Game
FOXBORO, Mass. (AP) _ Starting wide receivers Joey Galloway of the Dallas Cowboys and Troy Brown of the New England Patriots missed Sunday night’s game with injuries.
Galloway, who has 24 catches for 454 yards and one touchdown, has a strained quadriceps. Brown, with 27 catches for 342 yards and two touchdowns, has a leg injury. Both are the third leading receivers on their teams.
Galloway played a week earlier and had two catches in a 10-6 win over the Buffalo Bills. Brown had played all nine games for the Patriots before they had a bye last week.
For the Patriots, linebacker Ted Johnson, who missed the previous eight games with a broken foot, was activated, and nose tackle Ted Washington, who missed the previous six games with a broken leg, started.
