Patrick Reed is in the field, giving him five out of seven starts leading to his title defense at the Masters. ... The tournament was created to honor the LPGA founders and recognize pioneers in the women’s game. This year’s honoree is Laura Baugh. ... Stacy Lewis is the only American to win the event in its nine-year history. ... Hall of Famer Karrie Webb is the only two-time winner of the Founders Cup. ... Sei Young Kim set the tournament record at 261 in 2016. ... Park returned to No. 1 in the world by winning the HSBC Women’s World Championship. ...
