Man stabbed after fight in Raleigh, police say

Police were searching for a suspect after he stabbed a man during a fight Thursday afternoon in Raleigh, authorities said.

Several officers were called to 322 East Cabarrus Street shortly after 3:30 p.m.

When they arrived they found the man who had been stabbed. He was taken to WakeMed for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

The other man fled from the scene. Police have not publicly identified either the victim or the suspect.

It was not clear what the two were arguing about.
