GREENBELT, Md. _ They followed a call script for reassuring investors: A broker boasted of winning up to 95 percent of his trades. _ PLANE CRASH _ Federal officials say a small plane pilot who crashed last year in central Missouri, killing himself and a passenger, was under the influence of illicit drugs and was nearly blind in one eye.

_ DEADLY OVERDOSE-CHARGES _ Authorities say a Missouri man sold drugs linked to three overdoses, one of them fatal.

_ DOCTOR CHARGED _ A suburban St. Louis doctor has been charged with attempting to strangle the mother of his four children.

_ HUSBAND FATALLY STABBED _ A woman has been charged with fatally stabbing her husband in suburban St. Louis.
