Quinn ‘tricks’ Lowell

Junior Ryan Quinn netted a hat trick to lead Tewksbury past Lowell, 3-0 in a Merrimack Valley Conference game. The Redmen have now won three straight to even their record to 3-3.

In another MVC clash, Chelmsford nipped North Andover, 3-2.

Elsewhere, host North Middlesex and Leominster played to a 0-0 deadlock in Townsend.

Emily Miller scored an unassisted goal and that was all of the offense for the Crusaders in the Mid-Wach defeat. Noelle St. Germain and Emily Hauk produced strong games in the losing cause for Groton-Dunstable (2-2-1).

Wilmington 3

Burlington 1

The Wildcats received single tallies from Emily Gear, Molly Foley and Emily Wright, which helped the team push their record to 3-2 overall. Ryan Bailey picked up an assist, while goalie Johanna Robinson earned the win in the net and made 2 saves in the Middlesex League conquest.

Foley, Gear and Emily Novak had strong games on defense for Wilmington.

The lone goal scored by the Tigers came off the stick of Abbey Boville on an assist from Maggie Yang. Boville and Natalia Correia had outstanding games, while goalie Emily Ronan made all 6 saves for the shutout.

Playing well for Lowell (0-3) were Laura Heslin, Jenn Paulino and Niky Yrrizarry in the MVC setback.
