Former Vermont teacher faces more voyeurism charges
SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) — A former Vermont teacher accused of secretly taking cellphone photos up a student’s skirt is now accused of taking similar photos of female coworkers.
The Burlington Free Press reports that 32-year-old Brian Lynam, who taught music at Rice Memorial High School in South Burlington, pleaded not guilty Tuesday to two additional charges of voyeurism.
Lynam also had pleaded not guilty to the initial charge in April.
Police said a student reported seeing him take a photo with his cellphone up the skirt of a female student as Lynam climbed a stairwell behind her.
Both Lynam and his lawyer declined to comment on Tuesday.
Rice Principal Lisa Lorenz said the school is “deeply disturbed by Mr. Lynam’s actions and the impact they have had on our school community.”
