Fred Clark Kesler, 79, of Spanish Fork Utah, passed away on September 26, 2018. He was born on August 2, 1939 in Blackfoot, Idaho to Clark Leroy Kesler and Louiena Rebecca Patterson.
Fred graduated from Blackfoot High School and later attended Brigham Young University where he met and married the love of his life, Marilyn Lee Fish on June 20, 1958 in the Mesa, Arizona Temple. Fred & Marilyn spent 26 years in Blackfoot Idaho where Fred had an automobile and recreational vehicle dealership until 1979. He then spent 7 years in real estate in Camarillo, California before moving to Spanish Fork, Utah where he spent the remainder of his life working in commercial real estate with his son Clark. He was well respected and earned many awards both in California and Utah.
Fred was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many callings, one of his favorites being the Stake Financial Clerk. Fred served five years in the Los Angeles Temple as an ordinance worker and two years in the Provo, Utah Temple.
Fred enjoyed many hobbies including golfing, woodworking, stamp collecting and gardening. He was known for his hard work and dedication, his sense of humor, his love of family, and his faith.
Fred is survived by his dear wife of 60 years, Marilyn, and his six children: Chris, Kevin (Diane), Fred (Cozette), Kelly (Kirk), Caroline (Tracy), and Clark (Shanna). At the time of his passing he had 30 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Kent, his parents, and his sister Lorene (Dunn).
There will be a viewing Monday, October 1, 2018 prior to the funeral from 9:00 – 10:30 am. Funeral services will begin Monday at 11:00 at the LDS Chapel located at 575 West 400 North, Spanish Fork, Utah.
